Anthesis Ltd strongly dedicated to environmental friendly crop protection products and continuously committed to offering innovative solution to growers, announces the commercial agreement with CBC (Europe) Ltd – Biocontrol Division which is the European branch of the Japanese company Shin-Etsu Chemicals Co. Ltd. The exclusive agreement concerns the distribution to the Greek market of pheromone-based lepidoptera mating disruption products.

Shin-Etsu Chemicals Co. Ltd is a world leader in synthesis and formulation of pheromone-based lepidoptera mating disruption products. Shin-Etsu Chemical Co Ltd’s commitment to research and development has enabled the design of fully innovative capillary-type dispenser which ensures that it remains impregnated with the active ingredient even when its contents have been depleted. In addition, Shin-Etsu and CBC also have a series of products attending licensing and others still at the testing stage. All products potentially available to the Greek market are attending licensing from the Greek Ministry of Agriculture.

Anthesis Ltd has recently come to an agreement with FuturecoBioscience S.L., for exclusive distribution of Botanigard 10,7 SC in Greece (Registration number: 14302/23-10-2008) and in Cyprus. FuturecoBioscience S.L. is a Spanish company dedicated to designing, developing, manufacturing and commercializing plant nutrition products and plant protection products from natural origin. FUTURECO is member of international organizations such as IBMA and IOBC which actively work in the promotion of biological control practices and Integrated Pest Management.

Anthesis Ltd has came to an exclusive agreement as distributor in the Greek region with the well known Dutch floriculture company Royal van Zanten Plants BV member of Royal van Zanten. This company holds some special series of plants, as pot alstroemeria, anigozanthus etc., that complement our great variety assortment.

The Beekenkamp Group, based in Maasdijk The Netherlands and Florema, based in Amstelveen, The Netherlands have signed an intention agreement in which both parties agree to join their activities as from September 2008. Florema will than become part of the Beekenkamp Group. Anthesis Ltd as agent of Beekenkamp Group in Greece as well as good long partners with Florema-Aartsen is very pleased by this agreement that holds us in paste with latest international floriculture developments.
